Make the moment manageable.
A brief check-in before work. A few minutes after a difficult conversation. Enough space to notice what you need next.
YOUR EVERYDAY MENTAL WELLBEING COMPANION
Some days, you know something feels off. You just don’t know where to begin.
EmpowerMood is being built to help you understand what’s behind your feelings, turn a few answers into a journal, and find one small next step—with a path to the people who care for you.
Explore the product, screen by screen. No account needed.
A new day. A little space for you.
Thoughtfully built. With people in mind.
Developed in consultation with neurologists and pharmacistsOur approachTHE EMPOWERMOOD EXPERIENCE
A feeling is only the beginning of the story. Step inside a connected workspace for reflection, everyday practice, and more meaningful conversations about your care.
Choose a screen in the app to look around.
Let’s make a little room for you today.
A few words can be a place to begin.
Start a check-inFind a comfortable rhythm. Give yourself a little space.
“I don’t have to solve the whole week today.”
A check-in, a reflection to return to, and one useful next step. Your home brings the pieces together without asking you to interpret a wall of numbers.
A detailed product tour with example data. EmpowerMood is in development; availability and planned connections are explained throughout.
You are a whole person.
Every part of your day belongs in the picture.
There’s the feeling you notice. The conversation you’re still replaying. The night you didn’t sleep. The pressure to keep going as if everything is fine.
EmpowerMood brings reflection and action into the same space. The idea is simple: understand a little more of what’s happening, choose something manageable, then come back with more context.
Let’s walk through it01 / BEGIN AS YOURSELF
Maybe you know what you want to work on. Maybe you just know that you could use some support. The first conversation is a chance to say what matters, without turning your life into a long intake form.
Choose a starting point, find a rhythm that fits, and decide what you want the app to remember. You can begin without connecting a watch, opening a calendar, or explaining everything at once.
Choose what feels relevant. You can choose more than one, or simply keep going.
02 / A MOMENT TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF
Imagine there’s a presentation ahead, a restless night behind you,
and a feeling you can’t quite name. Here’s where we start.
You don’t need the right words or a blank page full of answers. Start with a feeling. Then explore what happened, how your body feels, and what’s taking up space in your mind.
In the product vision, you can speak or type, go deeper, or skip a question. The pace is yours.
There’s no right answer. Choose an example to explore.
One check-in creates a moment of clarity. Over time, those moments can tell a bigger story.
03 / YOUR WORDS, WITH ROOM TO BREATHE
You shouldn’t have to become a good writer to understand yourself. A few honest answers can become a reflection that holds the feeling, the context, and what you want to remember.
Explore an example journal below. Move between days, search for a theme, edit a reflection, and take a copy with you.
What would being prepared enough look like today?
Edit freely. This example stays in your browser session.
Gentle prompts create a starting point when a blank page feels like too much. Follow a thought, name a feeling, or simply record what happened.
Read the suggested reflection before keeping it. Change the wording, remove a sentence, and leave space for things the app cannot know.
Return to a moment days later. Find themes you want to explore, or bring a reflection into a conversation with someone you trust.
04 / FROM UNDERSTANDING TO DOING
Sometimes the next step is a breath. Sometimes it’s noticing the room around you, or finding a kinder way to speak to yourself. A practice should meet the moment you’re in—and leave you in charge of the pace.
Explore a practice that fits the moment.
Sit comfortably. Let the rhythm guide you only if it feels comfortable; there’s no need to force your breath.
Choose by what you need and how much time you have. A small pause can belong between meetings, after a difficult conversation, or at the end of a long day.
Tell the app what helped and what didn’t. The intended experience uses that feedback to make future suggestions more relevant to you.
Gentle completion moments recognize the time you gave yourself. No leaderboard for wellbeing. No penalty for needing something different.
The breathing example follows a gentle, optional rhythm. Read the NHS guidance on comfortable breathing.
Poor sleep · Work on my mind
Another short night · A busy morning
Grounding before a meeting
You mentioned both on difficult mornings. That’s a starting point for reflection, not proof of a cause.
You decide whether an insight fits.05 / UNDERSTANDING WHAT’S UNDERNEATH
A difficult morning rarely exists on its own. Sleep, relationships, work, and the things you tell yourself can all be part of your story.
With your permission, EmpowerMood is designed to connect your reflections over time. You can notice what tends to show up together, what you’ve tried, and what felt useful—without reducing your life to a mood score.
06 / A LITTLE PERSPECTIVE OVER TIME
A rough morning can take up the whole picture. Looking back can reveal details you missed: a short night, a recurring worry, a conversation that helped, or a practice worth trying again.
EmpowerMood’s intended insights connect those details to the reflections they came from. You can look closer, correct what doesn’t fit, and decide what deserves a conversation.
Here are a few parts of this one.
03Example reflections
01Practice that felt useful
01Question worth exploring
Personal ratings · 1 to 5 · Not a clinical score
A pause before my meeting helped me collect my thoughts.
In this example, the two lowest mood ratings follow the shortest nights. That doesn’t tell us why. It gives you something specific to reflect on.
Does this fit your experience?Your interpretation matters more than a tidy chart.
Move from an overview to a particular day. Look at what was happening in your life alongside how you reported feeling.
A pattern can be incomplete, misleading, or simply not yours. The product is designed to let you question it and correct the record.
Bring a concrete observation to your clinician. You don’t have to diagnose yourself to ask for help understanding your experience.
Some days, taking a minute for yourself is a meaningful thing. Other days, the meaningful thing is saying “this isn’t helping” and asking for more support.
We want the experience to recognize both. Your wellbeing should never become a competition with yesterday.
Make room for those momentsMake this example routine your own.
This is an on-page concept. No notifications are scheduled.
07 / CARE THAT HAS A PLACE IN YOUR DAY
The best routine is one that makes sense for you. An evening reflection may feel more natural than a morning check-in. A short pause may be all you have time for on a busy day.
The planned routine experience lets you choose the moments that matter, with reminders you can quiet, change, or turn off. Care shouldn’t feel like another demanding calendar.
A brief check-in before work. A few minutes after a difficult conversation. Enough space to notice what you need next.
Reminders should invite you back when you want them. Missing a day should never create guilt or erase the effort you’ve made.
08 / YOU DON’T HAVE TO CARRY IT ALONE
“How have you been since we last met?” can be surprisingly hard to answer. The days blur. The important moments are easy to forget.
Our care vision turns the reflections you choose into a useful summary for your clinician—your psychiatrist, therapist, neurologist, or another member of your existing care team.
You choose the details. Keep private entries private. Include the patterns, exercises, and questions you want to discuss.
Your clinician sets the rhythm. Daily, weekly, monthly, or six-monthly reviews may fit different care plans. Your clinician decides what’s appropriate as your needs change.
Extra support follows an agreed plan. Planned contact options would help you reach your care team with explicit permission. Automatic outreach requires a separately agreed care plan and validation.
Care coordination is planned. This preview contacts no one.
Explore a fictional summary for your existing clinician.
Support should be there when a moment gets harder. Our planned safety flow offers user-controlled contact options and local resources when distress is disclosed. EmpowerMood cannot reliably detect every crisis or guarantee a clinician’s response. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
09 / CONTINUITY BEYOND A SINGLE APPOINTMENT
A meaningful appointment begins before you enter the room, and its questions often continue after you leave. Our care vision makes room for both, while keeping clinical decisions with your clinician.
You don’t have to recall every day from memory. Choose the observations, questions, and reflections you want to bring.
Sharing is a decision, not a background action. Planned proactive contact would require explicit permission, a care plan agreed with the relevant people, and appropriate validation. EmpowerMood does not provide emergency monitoring.
10 / THE CARE WE’RE WORKING TOWARD
Calendars. Wearables. Thoughtful little reminders.
Our longer-term vision is care that meets you in the moments between check-ins.
Your presentation starts soon. Would you like a short breathing break or some gentle movement before you begin?
A five-minute pauseA calendar connection could offer a five-minute pause before a demanding moment: comfortable breathing, gentle wall pushes if suitable for you, or a quiet grounding activity.
Our starting pointCheck-ins, reflection, small actions.
The next connectionPermission-based clinician summaries.
The longer viewCalendar and wearable support.
Each step depends on testing, appropriate clinical review, and your consent. No release dates are promised.
11 / TRUST YOU CAN UNDERSTAND
A journal contains things you might not say anywhere else. Trust begins with knowing what happens to those words, and having real choices about what comes next.
Our permission model is designed around separate decisions. Remembering a reflection doesn’t mean sharing it. Connecting a wearable shouldn’t mean connecting everything. Preparing a care summary shouldn’t send it.
Explore the intended controls. These switches change this example only.
12 / BUILT WITH HUMAN EXPERTISE
We consulted with neurologists and pharmacists to build EmpowerMood.
That perspective belongs in the experience—not just in the fine print.
Conversations with neurologists and pharmacists are part of our development process. We pair that input with a commitment to clear language, thoughtful boundaries, and ongoing learning.
You can miss a day. Skip an exercise. Say “that didn’t help.” Small milestones should encourage you, and difficult feelings should never become a failed streak.
You don’t have to earn support. Our design starts with a choice: what to remember, what to connect, and what to share. A journal entry and a clinician summary are different things. You should control both.
Read our privacy policyIf you’re living with anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder, your care deserves more than an app. EmpowerMood is being developed for reflection, everyday wellbeing, and care preparation. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure a disorder, replace medication or therapy, or provide emergency monitoring.

13 / WHAT IT MEANS TO BUILD WITH CARE
The quality of this experience depends on what happens in the ordinary moments: when you change your mind, when a suggestion misses the mark, when you want quiet, or when you need a person.
These are the commitments guiding the application we’re building, from the first check-in to the longer-term care experience.
A suggested reflection should sound like something you can question and edit. We’re building for nuance, including the possibility that the app has misunderstood.
Editable reflections · Clear explanationsExercises need a clear beginning, a comfortable pace, and a way to pause or leave. Feedback should guide the next suggestion without making you feel judged.
Pause controls · Honest feedbackA wellness insight is not a diagnosis. A summary is not a treatment decision. We’re keeping the role of qualified professionals clear throughout the experience.
Clinical boundaries · Professional inputInsights should lead back to the reflections that informed them. You should be able to understand a suggestion, correct an interpretation, and choose what you share.
Context you can review · Permission firstWe welcome conversations with clinicians, researchers, and partners who want to help shape a thoughtful everyday support experience.

Talk to our team →EmpowerMood is an agentic mental health companion in development. Unlike passive mood trackers, it connects gentle daily check-ins with structured cognitive reframing, guided journaling, and somatic exercises. It builds a longitudinal Wellbeing Graph that helps you identify trigger patterns and prepare structured, permission-gated summaries for professional care.
EmpowerMood is designed to support depression relief through clinically proven Behavioral Activation (BA) and micro-commitments. By breaking intimidating tasks into gentle 90-second steps and offering calming somatic breathwork, it helps bypass depressive paralysis. EmpowerMood complements professional care and does not replace medical diagnosis, medication, or psychotherapy.
Traditional focus apps rely on stressful countdown timers that often trigger anxiety for neurodivergent individuals and high-stress professionals. EmpowerMood combines vagus nerve stimulation (such as the physiological sigh) with somatic down-regulation before deep work blocks, regulating the autonomic nervous system so mental focus and calm emerge naturally.
This website is an interactive preview of the EmpowerMood experience. The interactive check-in demonstrates our design principles and workflow using local state without sending data to an external server. Not without your explicit permission. Our care bridge architecture is entirely user-controlled: you review and choose whether to export longitudinal summaries for your existing care provider. Any future proactive clinician notifications require an explicit care protocol, written consent, and verified clinical safety boundaries.
No. Guided journaling, somatic relaxation, and daily mood reflections operate entirely independently. Wearable biometrics (HRV, resting heart rate, sleep architecture) and calendar schedule density are optional contextual layers that you can connect or disconnect at any time.
The interactive demo runs entirely in your local browser session. No journal text, mood selections, or notes are stored on external servers or used for marketing. Refreshing the browser clears your demo session completely. EmpowerMood is engineered on zero-knowledge, client-side encryption principles.
